Centre for the Development of Human Initiatives (CDHI) is founded by Dr. Rajeshwar Mishra with a team of experienced professionals from different backgrounds in 1999. CDHI is driven by the passion of working with the marginalized communities with the motto of catalyzing enabling conditions where communities can take up relevant initiatives to improve their own situations, by building capacities, self–efficacy, institution building and community research.  It believes that people are endowed with unique potentials and capabilities which are, more than often, shadowed by disabling conditions and structural asymmetries. Only way they can realize their potentials is by helping them reflect, pro-act, create and co-create and build instrumentalities to deal with structural asymmetries. CDHI’s interventions are focused around these as a catalyst.
